Apparent Drowning in Dakota County
Inver Grove Heights, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Dakota County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an apparent drowning.
A news release indicates emergency responders were dispatched to the Twin Cities Marina along the Mississippi River in Inver Grove Heights after a man fell into the water around 10:30 PM. Officials say the man was located and pulled out of the water around 11:45 PM.
The man was given first-aid and was rushed to Regions Hospital in St. Paul where he pronounced dead. His name has not been released. The marina is located about 60 miles north of Rochester.
