A Twin Cities woman died and a man was injured in a crash between an ATV and a motorcycle over the Labor Day weekend in northern Minnesota. Newspaper reports indicate that 23-year-old Natasha Diaz-Cruz died at a Duluth hospital Monday, a day after the ATV she was a passenger on collided with a motorcycle in Gilbert.

The Duluth New-Tribune cites the Gilbert Police Chief with the release of the names. The accident occurred Sunday evening in Gilbert, which is near the town of Virginia in northern Minnesota.

The driver of the all-terrain vehicle, 35-year-old Carlos Andres Ferrer Arevalo also of Burnsville, was not injured in the crash. However, the motorcyclist, 37-year-old Erwin Javier Cruz Viera of Hancock, MN, was taken by ambulance to a clinic in Virginia with what was reported as non-life-threatening injuries.
