Arrest Made in Recent Rochester KFC Shooting
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester police have arrested a man suspected of being involved in a recent shooting that left two teenagers injured.
Officers arrested 28-year-old George Oliver at his place of employment Tuesday.
Police suspect he was the person who drove a car from the scene of the Oct. 23rd shooting that took place outside the southeast KFC restaurant. Police continue looking for the suspected shooter.
The two 16-year-old victims were sitting in a car in the KFC parking lot when several shots were fired at the vehicle. One teen was hit in the leg, the other suffered a graze wound.
Witnesses - which included an off-duty officer - saw the gunman flee on foot. Moments later a nearby car was seen leaving at a high rate of speed. It’s suspected the shooter was in the vehicle.
