Austin Teenager Seriously Hurt in Traffic Wreck
Lansing, MN (KROC AM News) - An Austin teenager suffered serious injuries Monday after the car she was riding in was involved in a crash.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 17-year-old Megan Erie was a passenger in a car that collided with a pickup truck. The car was driven by 18-year-old Jazmin Portillo of Austin, who was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The pickup was driven by 79-year-old Burton Iversen of Austin, who wasn’t hurt.
The wreck happened around 4:00 PM on Highway 218 near Lansing.
