Baby survives deadly wreck in Twin Cities

The State Patrol says two people were killed but a 1 year old child survived a bad wreck

in the northern Twin Cities Friday night. It happened around 8 o’clock on 694 in Fridley when a car travelling at a very high rate of speed rear-ended a semi-truck. The name of the man who was driving has not been released. A 31 year old woman from Hopkins who was in his car was also killed. The baby suffered non-life threatening injuries.
