Big Announcement From One of Minnesota's Favorite Gas Stations

Kwik Trip might be the best gas station in all of the United States, but there is one other spot that is a crowd pleasure as well. In fact, about 2,000 customers a day roll through each location just to fill up their gas tank with this "cheap" gas. Yep, I'm talking about Costco! And thanks to its latest announcement, it sounds like you'll have some more time to fill up at their pumps.

Extended Hours Just Announced For Costco Gas Stations

I'm not great at looking at my gas gauge. And I have been known to let my car get down to vapors...which has led me to driving down the wrong way on a one-way and ultimately running out of gas.

Obviously, I don't plan well when it comes to keeping my gas tank full.

Friends of mine LOVE filling up at Costco so I followed the crowd and got a membership too. People love Costco gas because it is known to be cheaper. I just couldn't utilize that part of my membership because the hours sucked. Plain and simple.

When I was scrolling through Facebook the other day, my lack-of-planning self got a little excited because my wish to have better hours at the Costco gas pumps had come true.

What Are The New Hours For Costco Gas Stations?

Not all but most locations are participating in these new extended hours for Costco gas stations:

Monday through Friday - 6:00 am until 10:00 pm
Saturday - 6:00 am until 8:30 pm
Sunday - 6:00 am until 7:30 pm

Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.
