Hennepin County, MN (KROC AM News) - A video posted on social media led police to the assailant of a brutal robbery.

The video was posted to Facebook, and was of an elderly woman being brutally robbed at a transit center. The video led police to the assailant, Wesley Norman Martin, who pleaded guilty to the crime, according to Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman.

According to the criminal complaint from February 13, police learned of the attack and began their investigation that revealed that the incident occurred the day before at the Chicago-Lake Transit Center. One of the main aggressors at the incident was captured on the video and identified as 21-year-old Martin, of Blaine.

The video shows Martin and an accomplice, 25-year-old Yetta Plair, of Bloomington, approached the victim as she was sitting on a bench inside the transit shelter. Another accomplice videotaped the incident.

Martin pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree aggravated robbery in court and will be sentenced on November 16th and is expected to receive 54 months in prison.
