Body Found in Burning Car in St Paul

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Authorities say a body was found inside a car that was on fire in St. Paul.

The car fire was reported at about 6 p.m. Saturday on the city's east side.

Police say a person was found dead inside, but it was unclear how the person died.

Police spokesman Steve Linders told the St. Paul Pioneer Press that authorities don't know who the person is, or anything about the person's race, gender or age.

Investigators are working with the Ramsey County Medical Examiner to determine the person's identity and cause of death.
