
Body Found in River Near Minnesota Dam, Investigation Underway
Responding officers recovered a deceased individual from the water
Coon Rapids, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities in the Twin Cities say they have recovered a body from the Mississippi River.

So far limited information is available. The Brooklyn Park Police Department says officers responded to the report of a person in the river around 2:30 Thursday afternoon.

Body Pulled from Mississippi River Near Coon Rapids Dam, Hennepin County Sheriff's Office Investigating
The call came from the area of the Coon Rapids Dam. Responding officers recovered a deceased individual from the water, Brooklyn Park police say.
Officials say the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the individual.
Information released by law enforcement does not indicate how long the person was in the water.
The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident. Authorities have said that there’s no indication of foul play.
