International Falls, MN (Learfield News Service) - Agents with the US Customs and Border Protection Agency seized more than $700,000 worth of counterfeit electronics at the international border at International Falls.

The amplifiers, earbuds and other products were headed to Ranier. Field officers found the fake merchandise in rail containers during an inspection last month.

In a similar operation at the same location, agents intercepted nearly 5500 fake Barbie dolls in a rail car which had a suggested retail price of almost $140,000.
