I can binge scary movies for hours, no problem. But throw something real my way, and I’m out faster than you can say “ghost.”

Take haunted houses, for example. The last one I braved was when I was 16, and the minute some creepy actor jumped out at me, I froze like a deer in headlights. He literally threw his hands up and said, "You can go, I’m not gonna touch you," but by then, I was already done. Tapped out. Officially the biggest scaredy cat in the building.

Now, my teenager finds this absolutely hysterical and spends his free time jumping out from every corner of the house just to hear me scream. So yeah, I’m basically living in a horror movie… minus the special effects budget.
