Crosslake, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Minnesota teenager was killed in a three-vehicle crash involving a dump truck on Friday.

The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office says the deadly multi-vehicle collision was reported around 8:20 AM at the junction of two county roads near the town of Crosslake, on the north edge of the Brainerd Lakes area, about 20 miles north of Brainerd. A news release says the primary crash involved the collision between the 18-year-old victim's SUV and the dump truck before a second SUV became involved.

The statement says emergency responders attempted lifesaving measures at the crash scene, but the teenage motorist was pronounced dead. The front passenger was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition, while a third passenger was transported for medical healthcare in a private vehicle, suffering from what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Don't blink, or you'll miss them! These state highways are pretty shockingly short!

For the purpose of this list, I decided to exclude the sizable list of short state highways that serve state institutions like correctional facilities and hospitals. These are just connections to those facilities, so they have a very specific purpose besides just being a stretch of road.

Let's take a look at where these roads are and just how short they really are.
