Burnsville Man Accused of Indecent Exposure at Rochester Hotel
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Burnsville man was arrested on a felony indecent exposure charge following an incident Saturday evening at a Rochester hotel.
Police Captain Casey Moilanen says officers were sent to the Apache Hotel after receiving reports that a man was found in a hot tub in the company of six children with his swim trunks down around his ankles. The children ranged from age from 6 to 10-years-old.
The police report says one of the adults in the vicinity noticed the man appeared to be trying to touch the children with his leg and then spotted the position of the man’s swimming suit. Moilanen says the adults told the officer the man responded by pulling up his swimming suit and retreating to his hotel room.
The responding officers found him in the room and confronted him about his alleged actions, which he denied. Captain Moilanen says the man, 65-year-old Thomas Manion, did acknowledge his criminal record did includes some past incidents involving indecent exposure.
