Golden Valley, MN (KROC AM News) - A high-speed police chase on a Twin Cities freeway Thursday morning ended when the pursued vehicle burst into flames.

The incident led to the closure of the highway for about two hours.

The chase took place on Highway 100 and ended in Golden Valley around 6:00 am. One report indicates the person being pursued was a suspect in a shooting incident.
