Car Crash Left SE Minnesota Teen With Life-Threatening Injuries
Hampton, MN (KROC-AM News) - A southeastern Minnesota teenager was severely injured this morning in a car crash near Hampton.
The State Patrol says 19-year-old Devin John Emery of Dennison was a passenger in an Infinity G35 that was traveling north on Highway 56 when it left the roadway and rolled. The crash occurred shortly after 5 AM along a curve on the highway about 2 miles north of Randolph and approximately 4 miles south of Hampton in Dakota County
The State Patrol says Emery was transported to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with what were described as life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle, 20-year-old Brandon Rhoda of Farmington, was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries.
The preliminary report on the crash indicates there was snow and ice on the roadway at the time. It also states that it's unknown if alcohol was involved.
