Red Lobster started 56 years ago in Lakeland, Florida. It was small with only a few locations originally, but in the 1980s, it blew up and the chain expanded nationwide. Today, there are about 650 Red Lobster joints, with 11 located in Minnesota.
A study of all of the small towns across the country came up with the 100 best to live in or visit. Two of the towns that made the list are in Minnesota.
