Channel One Presented With Donation From Rochester Credit Union

A Rochester-based financial institution is giving the Channel One Regional Food Bank a boost ahead of the holidays. First Alliance Credit Union presented Channel One with a check for $6500 during a virtual news conference on Monday.

First Alliance Credit Union’s President/CEO, Michael Rosek said, “Access to food, housing and education are the foundations for success for any community. Helping families who may be struggling with food insecurity is where we believe we can make the greatest impact.”

Channel One Development Director Jessica Sund participated in the event and indicated the donation will provide the resources for 26,000 meals at a time when the food bank is unable to accept community donations of food items because of the pandemic. Monetary donations are encouraged.
