Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man has been accused of repeatedly sexually abusing a young girl beginning when he was also a minor and continuing after he became an adult.

The criminal complaint filed against 23-year-old Joshua Brian Shoden states that a woman, who is now 20 years old, told Rochester police that she had been sexually assaulted from the time she was 5 years old until around her 17th birthday. The court document indicates she named Shoden as her assailant and described the sexual abuse he allegedly inflicted on her through most of her childhood.

The charges say Shoden estimated that he touched the victim more than 10 times, but thought it had stopped before he turned 18 years old.
