MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Chris Paul had 26 points and 14 assists, and the Los Angeles Clippers allowed only one field goal in the fourth quarter to outlast the Minnesota Timberwolves for a 110-105 victory Monday night.

J.J. Redick scored 18 points before getting ejected in the fourth and DeAndre Jordan had 12 points and 18 rebounds, his ninth straight game with at least 15 boards. Glen Davis scored 12 points off the bench to help the Clippers get their seventh win in nine games.

Ricky Rubio had 18 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists for the Timberwolves, who were missing starters Nikola Pekovic and Kevin Martin. Minnesota went 1 for 14 in the fourth quarter.

Gary Neal had 19 points and nine rebounds, but missed a forced 3-pointer with 9.3 seconds to go that would have tied the game.

Pekovic out for Wolves against Clippers,

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota Timberwolves center Nikola Pekovic did not play against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night because of a sore right ankle that has bothered him for the last two years.

The ankle flared up on him during a game against Memphis on Saturday night and limited him to 12 minutes. He had played at least 34 minutes in four of the previous five games, and the wear and tear has caught up with him.

Pekovic says he's extremely frustrated by the recurring injury, which has kept him out of 32 games this season. He says they will have to be more vigilant in monitoring his minutes going forward.

Kevin Martin also missed the game for the Timberwolves.
