
Rochester Man Accused of Selling Nearly 30 Grams of Cocaine to Informant
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Rochester man has been charged in a felony drug case.

The criminal complaint, filed in Olmsted County Court earlier this week, says the case stems from a controlled buy conducted by the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office.
Court records indicate the alleged drug dealer has a criminal record in Minnesota that dates back to 2012.

Rochester Man Accused of Selling Nearly 30 Grams of Cocaine to Informant
34-year-old Medi Okugn Opiew is charged with one count of first-degree drug sales.
The court document alleges he sold the informant 29.4 grams of cocaine during a controlled buy that occurred in Rochester last Summer.
Criminal History Includes Felony Convictions
Court records indicate Opiew has multiple fifth-degree drug possession convictions and also has a prior felony assault conviction.
Opiew is being charged by summons. He’s due to make his first court appearance in August.
