Concerns About A Candy Man in Rural Rochester Neighborhood
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) – Some residents in a rural SE Rochester neighborhood have raised concerns about a strange man who has been offering candy to their kids in recent weeks.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office was first contacted Wednesday and several calls have been received so far.
The incidents date back to May 12th, some from the 4500 block of Maple St SE.
Investigators have been told the man has called out to several elementary school children as they are walking home, asking where they live and then offering them candy.
He has been described as white and in his 50’s. His vehicle has been described as a late 1990s/early 2000’s blue minivan.
