Crash at Eyota Intersection Sends Rochester Woman to Hospital
Eyota, MN (KROC-AM News)- A young Rochester woman was brought to a hospital following a two-vehicle crash at an Olmsted County intersection Tuesday morning.
The State Patrol responded to the crash at the intersection of Hwy. 42 and 5th St. in Eyota. The collision was reported shortly after 6:15 a.m.
The state crash report indicates a southbound BMW was attempting to make a left turn from Hwy. 42 to 5th St. when it and a northbound pick-up collided in the intersection. The BMW driver, identified as 20-year-old Anna Elizabeth Stacy, was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
The pick-up driver, identified as 43-year-old Brandon Robin Himle of Chatfield, was not hurt. Both drivers were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the report says.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Eyota Fire Department and Eyota Ambulance also responded to the crash scene.
