Spring Valley, MN (KROC-AM News)- Two people were brought to St. Mary’s Hospital following a two-vehicle crash at an intersection in Spring Valley Monday afternoon.

The State Patrol’s crash report indicates a Pontiac Grand Prix traveling east on Main St. and a Dodge minivan northbound on Hwy. 63 collided at the intersection of the two roads shortly before 3:30 p.m. The Pontiac driver is described as a 16-year-old boy and the driver of the Dodge was identified as 62-year-old Terry Allard of Grand Meadow.

The severity of the teenager’s injuries and his home town were not disclosed. The report indicates the boy was buckled at the time of the crash.

Allard’s injuries were described as non-life-threatening. Troopers say he was buckled when the vehicles collided. 

The Spring Valley Ambulance and Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the two-vehicle crash.
