North Mankato, MN (KROC-AM News)- A southern Minnesota crash sent a Rochester man to the hospital Thursday morning.

He was the only person involved in the single-vehicle crash. The vehicle rolled, according to the State Patrol.

The State Patrol responded to the accident at a major interchange in the Mankato area around 8:45 a.m.

Rochester, MN Box Truck Driver Injured in Crash at North Mankato Interchange

The crash occurred at the Hwy. 169 and Hwy. 14 interchange in North Mankato. 

A box truck traveling west on Hwy. 14 rolled when the driver lost control during an attempt to enter southbound Hwy. 169, according to the state crash report

The State Patrol identified the driver as 44-year-old Dustin Robert Hekel. He was taken to a hospital in Mankato for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. 

Hekel was wearing his seatbelt and alcohol was not involved in the rollover crash, the state crash report says.
