Autopsy Ordered for Body Found in Southern Minnesota Home
Waseca, MN (KROC-AM News)- Investigators have ordered an autopsy after finding a man’s body inside of a southern Minnesota home.

Preliminary information released Thursday morning by the Waseca Police Department says officers discovered the dead man after responding to a welfare check shortly before 12:30 Wednesday afternoon.
Previous attempts to contact and locate the resident had failed, police say. Officers entered the 64-year-old man’s home and found his body inside.
The location of the body discovery is in the 900 block of 3rd St. Southwest in Waseca. The man’s body was transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office in St. Paul for an autopsy.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension also responded to the scene to provide the Waseca Police Department assistance with processing the scene. The man’s name has not yet been released.
Officials have not said whether or not foul play is suspected of being involved in the man’s death. There’s not a suspected ongoing danger to the public, the news release says.
The investigation into the man’s death is ongoing, police say.
