Deer/Motorcycle Accident Kills Princeton Man

BALDWIN TOWNSHIP, Minn. (AP) — A motorcyclist has died after striking a deer and then being hit by a minivan in Sherburne County.

Sheriff's officials say 44-year-old Roger Claassen struck the deer on a road in Baldwin Township Monday night. Claassen was thrown from the bike. Witnesses tried to help Claassen in the roadway. Authorities say a minivan swerved to avoid those giving aid and struck Claassen. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
