Did You Know That Some DoorDash Drivers Are Being Asked To Do This?
The gig economy is still going on, and to be honest where prices are with many things I don't see the gig economy going away anytime soon. With so many people taking on other part-time jobs/side hustles, it's not a surprise to see some customers attempting to see just how far drivers are willing to go. I saw online the other day that some DoorDash drivers are doubling up as private investigators! Crazy!
I was scrolling through Reddit after work on Friday afternoon, waiting for my wife to wrap up working so we could go grab a bite to eat for Valentine's Day, and I saw a post to the DoorDash subreddit, that highlighted that this person asked their driver to see if it was just their boyfriend's vehicle at the home, or if there were multiple vehicles there.
Caught my long distance boyfriend cheating.. through DoorDash… I just had a hunch

The posting person thought their boyfriend was cheating on them, and according to the driver's photos that they took and sent to the customer, it seemed like the commenter was right about feeling that way, as there was another unfamiliar car parked along with the truck in front of the house.

Here is what the original Reddit post said:

What do you think about having a DoorDash driver doing some private investigating? I know if I were that driver I'd think twice about 'spying' on someone, namely from what might come from it.
I'm someone who would rather just watch their bobber than get involved in someone else's drama.
If you were asked would you have said yes and/or helped, or would you have just done your job?
