DMC Meeting, Public Forum Today in Rochester

The Destination Medical Center Economic Development Agency and the Destination Medical Center Corporation

will hold a work session today in Rochester. The meeting will run from 12:30 - 3 this afternoon at the Mayo Civic Center. The meeting will focus on the progress of the DMC’s development plan that is being put together by various consultants. The meeting will be open to the public.

A second public forum will be held this evening at the Mayo Civic Center from 7 - 9. An update on the DMC planning process will be given and then another question and answer session will be held. Officials with the City of Rochester’s Comprehensive Plan will be on hand to answer questions as well.

This second public forum is designed to bring DMC preliminary ideas and concepts into a visual and descriptive form. Since April, the planners have been gathering information, market research and community input. The planning consultants will begin to share these early concepts with the attendees during the first half of the forum.
