NEW PRAGUE, Minn. (AP) — A 47-year-old woman is accused of using her cellphone while driving, causing her to kill a man getting his morning newspaper on the outskirts of New Prague.

The Star Tribune  reports Susan Ann Russo of New Prague was charged Monday with reckless driving and misuse of a wireless communication device. Seventy-nine-year-old Joseph Tikalsky was killed in the October crash. The longtime school bus driver was between routes.

According to a criminal complaint, the primary factor in the crash was that "Russo was distracted and not paying attention to the roadway ahead of her due to cellphone use."
