
Driver Killed in Crash With Semi at Rural Minnesota Intersection
Fertile, MN (KROC-AM News)- A collision between a semi-truck and an SUV at a rural Minnesota intersection has claimed the life of a Michigan woman.

It happened at the intersection of Hwy. 32 and Norman County Rd. 1, which is about 65 miles northeast of Moorhead.
The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly before 1:45 p.m. Wednesday.
The state crash report indicates an SUV traveling west on County Rd. 1 and semi-truck heading north on Hwy. 32 collided in the intersection of the two roads.
The report indicates the SUV driver was killed in the crash. Her name has not been released, however she is described as a 61-year-old woman from Grand Rapids, MI.
It’s unknown as of Thursday morning if the woman died at the scene of deadly collision or at a hospital.
The truck driver has been identified as 75-year-old Samuel Martin Olson of Crookston, MN. He was not hurt.
