Elderly Driver Hospitalized After Rollover on Hwy 52

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - An elderly motorist was transported to St. Marys Hospital following a rollover crash on Highway 52 in Rochester this afternoon.

The State Patrol says 81-year-old Carolyn Williams of St. Cloud was driving south when her SUV struck the right guard rail and rolled over. The crash was reported just before 1 PM just south of the 37th Street Northwest interchange.

The crash report indicates the driver was wearing a seatbelt and describes her injuries as non-life-threatening.

The Rochester Police and Fire Departments, along with Mayo Clinic Ambulance also responded to the crash.
