Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) – A Rochester teenager who was arrested last week as the suspect in a hit and run incident involving a stolen vehicle is now facing more trouble.

Authorities say the 17-year-old assaulted a 31-year-old staff worker at the Many Rivers juvenile detention center on Friday and also threatened to stab the man with a toothbrush that had been sharpened.

The teenager reportedly was upset about being held at the center. He was later transferred to another detention facility.
