Undated (KROC-AM News) - The Minnesota Department of Transportation says work on most of the nearly 300 state highway construction projects has been wrapped up for the season.

In this region, the westbound ramps on I-90 at St. Charles and Eyota opened Tuesday afternoon. Those ramp openings were the final pieces of a 12 mile concrete paving project on I-90, which is now open in both lanes in both directions. MNDOT also opened the new Highway 52 Lafayette Bridge in St. Paul to traffic Tuesday and will be shifting some traffic onto the new I-90 bridge over the Mississippi River at La Crosse on Wednesday.

The list of major projects in southeastern Minnesota this year included the construction of a new roundabout on Highway 14 at Eyota, expansion of a section of Highway 14 near Owatonna, and the final phase of the reconstruction of I-35 in Owatonna.
