Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Olmsted County court records show two more motorists have been caught driving 100 miles per hour or faster.

That raises the total in the county so far this month to four.

One of the super speeders was 37-year-old Mischea Smith of Eyota. She was clocked at 104 mph in a 70 mph on I-90 around 8:30 pm April 21st.

The state trooper says Smith was driving a minivan with children in the vehicle. The trooper’s report noted Smith claimed she was “going 65 mph.”

Fifteen more motorists have been caught driving 80 mph or faster during the past week and another was clocked at 90 mph.

The Minnesota State Patrol recently reported the number of drivers going 100 mph or more is "unprecedented."

At the time of the report, troopers cited 285 drivers for going 100 mph or more compared with 241 this time last year.
