Farmington Man Critically Injured in Head-On Crash

Farmington, MN (KROC-AM News) - One person was critically injured in a head-on crash last night in Dakota County.
The State Patrol is reporting the crash occurred around 10:20 PM on Highway 50 near Farmington. 44-year-old Matthew Slavik of Farmington was driving west in an SUV when he collided with an eastbound semi-truck. The State Patrol is reporting that the crash occurred in the eastbound lane occupied by the truck.
The State Patrol says Slavik was wearing a seatbelt but was suffering from life-threatening injuries when he was transported by ambulance to the Hennepin County Medical Center. 54-year-old Satish Lakhram was identified as the driver of the truck. He was not injured.
