
76-Year-Old Man Killed, 21-Year-Old Woman Hurt in Crash on Rural Minnesota Highway
Minneota, MN (MinnesotaNow)- A Minnesota man lost his life in a crash on a rural highway Friday afternoon.

Two vehicles were involved in the deadly collision. The State Patrol responded to the fatal crash scene shortly before 2:30 p.m.

76-Year-Old Man Dead, 21-Year-Old Woman Injured After SUV-Car Collision on Hwy. 68 Northwest of Marshall
The deadly crash occurred on Hwy. 68 about 14 miles north of Marshall.
An SUV and a car, both traveling east, collided on the two-lane highway, the state crash report says.
76-year-old Edward Joseph Lozinski of Minneota was identified as the car driver. The State Patrol says he was pronounced dead at the scene.
SUV Driver Taken to ER
21-year-old Hailey Elizabeth Pederson of Echo, MN was driving the SUV.
She was brought to the Emergency Room in Marshall with non-life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.
Both drivers were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the fatal crash, according to the state crash report. The report does not say which vehicle was leading.
