
Authorities ID 88-Year-Old Passenger Killed in Rural Minnesota Crash
A southbound pick-up struck an eastbound SUV at the intersection of the two roads, the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office says.
Willmar, MN (MinnesotaNow)- Authorities in central Minnesota have identified the victims of a recent fatal crash.

Three people were involved in the deadly collision, which occurred shortly before 11:00 Saturday morning.
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office released their names on Sunday.

Authorities Release Names of 88-Year-Old Woman Killed Man and Woman Injured in Central Minnesota Crash
The deadly two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Tri-County Rd. and 135th Ave. NE, which is about 13 miles northeast of Willmar.
A southbound pick-up struck an eastbound SUV at the intersection of the two roads, the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office says.
Authorities initially said a passenger in the SUV died from her injuries. She was subsequently identified as 88-year-old Janice Paulina Hazen of Belgrade, MN.
74-year-old Robert Ronald Knutson of Spicer was driving the SUV. He was transported to a hospital and his condition is not known, authorities said.
The other driver, identified as 56-year-old Ross William Strom of Aitkin, MN, was also brought to a hospital following the fatal collision. An update on his condition is also not available, the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office says.
The deadly crash is under investigation.
