She was the only person involved in the fatal single-vehicle crash that happened around 7:10 Thursday evening.

A preliminary crash report released by the State Patrol says the deadly crash occurred at the intersection of Hwy 73 and Gilboe Rd., which is about 30 miles east of Grand Rapids in St. Louis County.
The SUV ran off the road on the right-hand side then struck a guardrail, the report says. Authorities described the deceased driver as a 30-year-old woman from Hibbing.
