Jordan, MN (KROC-AM News)- A house fire in southern Minnesota claimed the lives of two women and left a man severely injured early Wednesday morning.

That’s according to a news release issued by the Jordan Police Department. Authorities say the fatal fire is under investigation.

Two Women Killed, Man in Serious Condition Following House Fire in Jordan, MN
Emergency responders were dispatched to the deadly blaze shortly after 3:30 a.m. at the Valley Green Mobile Home Park in Jordan.
The home was fully engulfed in flames by the time police and firefighters arrived, the news release says. A man who had evacuated the residence was found outside and indicated that two women were still inside.
Firefighters then rushed into the burning home and retrieved both of the women. First responders immediately began performing life-saving measures.
One of the women was pronounced dead at the scene. The other died after she was taken to a hospital, authorities say.
The man first responders encountered when they arrived at the scene was also brought to a hospital. At last report he was described to be in serious condition, the news release says.
The names of the fire victims have not yet been released. The Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office is leading the investigation into the deadly blaze.
