Feedback Sought for Downtown Rochester Parking
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The City of Rochester is asking for the public’s feedback on the city’s downtown parking situation.
Officials say the city has partnered with Minneapolis-based Walker Consultants to conduct what’s being described as a “comprehensive parking management and rate study.”
The goal of the study is to address Rochester’s downtown parking system and related fees. A City of Rochester Spokesman says city leaders are, “ interested in taking feedback and implementing tangible solutions that continue to improve the downtown on-street and off-street parking system.”
Officials hope to use the feedback to provide the best possible customer service and maintain the vitality of the city’s Parking Enterprise Fund, which city leaders see as a critical part of the future of downtown Rochester.
City officials have launched an online survey to gather feedback from the public. It’s open through November 17. You can access the survey by clicking here.
