Five Hurt in Mower County Wreck, Three were Young Kids
Waltham, MN (KROC AM News) - Five people were hurt Wednesday night in a traffic wreck in Mower County, including a set of triplets.
The State Patrol says the wreck happened around 7:00 PM in the town of Waltham, south of Hayfield.
The State Patrol says an SUV driven by a male teenager turned in front of a pickup truck on Highway 56. A passenger in the SUV - 17-year-old Sydney Johnson of Waltham - was taken to St. Marys Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The pickup was driven by 41-year-old Brian Quail of Austin. His 9-year-old triplets - Christian, Lila and Lincoln - were riding in the truck. All four were taken to St. Marys for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
