FLIGHT ALERT – MSP Closes All Runways! (UPDATE)

You know how you know the weather is bad? The airport closes in MSP!

With all the snow already on the ground and more to come (with a ton of wind), an hour ago, this was posted on the airport's Facebook page...

Due to low visibility and the fast rate of snowfall, our runways are currently closed. We're hoping to resume operations at 9:30 a.m., if conditions improve. Please contact your airline before arriving to MSP for the status of your flight.

Of course, this will affect any flights out of Rochester to the MSP, too. Make sure you call ahead.

UPDATE! 

One of the runways has REOPENED! But please, check with your airline to get updates on your flight.
