St. Cloud, MN ( Minnesota News Network) - A former Stearns County deputy has been given a two-year prison sentence for violating the terms of his probation on a sexual offense conviction.  Phil Meemken had been on probation since June 2012.

He had been accused of providing alcohol to minors, then sexually assaulting them. Meemken had been the leader of the Stearns County Sheriff's Department Explorer post and two of his alleged victims belonged to that post.

He served more than seven months behind bars, then violated the terms of his probation by using marijuana and meth, possessing pornography, failing to complete sex offender treatment and failing to stay in contact with his probation agent.
