Former Rochester Businessman Convicted in Teen Sex Case
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A former downtown Rochester coffee shop owner has been convicted of having sex with a 14-year old boy in December 2014.
An Olmsted County jury returned its verdict Thursday against 46-year-old Christopher Holloway. He is scheduled to be sentenced in August.
According to the criminal complaint in the case, Rochester police were contacted by the boy’s mother who said she had found Holloway in bed with her son and both were naked. Holloway fled but was caught by police a short while later.
The teen told investigators he met Holloway on a social media site. He said Holloway wanted to come to his house and he agreed. The teen told police they had sex before his mother found them.
Court records show Holloway currently lives in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
