Why Do People Like 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show'?
Rocky Horror is one of those movies where you either love it or you hate it and don't understand the hype. I mean, that's the definition of a cult-classic.
Here's the synopsis of Rocky Horror from IMDb in case you aren't familiar with it:
A newly-engaged couple have a breakdown in an isolated area and must seek shelter at the bizarre residence of Dr. Frank-n-Furter.
There's music and crazy characters, and the audience always gets super involved. It's part of the viewing experience and is always shown around Halloween.
If you go to a correct showing of the movie, people will dance to 'Time Warp', throw things at the screen at particular times, and yell along with the movie during certain scenes.

It's absolutely hilarious! If you've never gone to a showing, you need to try and go with someone who knows how to use all of the props and do all of the dances, or you'll be very confused.
Yes, I'm one of those people who love this movie, and I love going to see it and participating. My husband, on the other hand, could care less. Maybe I like the movie because I love Halloween.
Either way, if you're also a Rocky Horror fan, a special showing of Rocky Horror will be coming to Minnesota on Halloween night! There will also be some members of the cast there.
