The Sheriff's Office says it is actively investigating the incident and investigators are working to determine if there is a current threat to the public or if it is an isolated incident.
People living near where the incident occurred and motorists who drove along the section of Highway 220 about 5 miles south of East Grand Forks yesterday afternoon are being asked to contact the Sheriff's Office if they observed anything suspicious or have any other information that could be useful to investigators.
