Each week the Goodhue County Sheriff's Office publishes the highlights of the week on their Facebook page...and I share them here with my highlights of the highlights! And, along the way, maybe we all learn something about the day-to-day crimes and interactions of a Sheriff's Deputy.

The Case of the Discreet Light Bulb

  • Pine Island- Deputies responded to an issue between 2 tenants about a light bulb. The reporting party did not want deputies to speak to the other tenant about the issue.

OK, I'm going to need some help here. What's up with the light bulb? Does the roomie not believe in lightbulbs? Is the light bulb missing? Is one light bulb fond of the fridge light and the roomie is fond of the lightbulb and gets totally jealous and just creates mad amounts of drama? Please, someone shed some light on this story!
