Gopher Football Game Moved to 1520 ‘The Ticket’
The University of Minnesota football team opens the 2019 Big Ten season Saturday afternoon in West Layfayette, Indiana against the Purdue Boilermakers.
Due to a scheduling conflict with the Minnesota Twins, the Golden Gophers Gridiron action will again be carried on our sister-station, Rochester Sports Radio-1520 AM The Ticket. The pregame show begins at 12:30 PM with the kick-off at 2:30.
Minnesota enters conference play undefeated against non-conference opponents this season, while Purdue has only one victory and two losses. The Gophers beat the Boilermakers 41-10 the last time the two teams met in a game at TCF Bank Stadium.
Meanwhile, the time for Saturday's Minnesota Twins game has been changed due to the threat of severe weather in Kansas City tomorrow evening. The pregame will also be at 12:30 with the first pitch around 1:15 PM on News-Talk 1349 KROC-AM and 96.9 FM.
