MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota Gopher football team has finalized the schedule for preseason camp, and it features three practices plus one scrimmage that will be open to the public.

The university announced the dates on Tuesday. The fourth camp under coach Jerry Kill will begin on Aug. 1, less than four weeks ahead of the opener on Aug. 28 against Eastern Illinois.

Practices at the Gibson-Nagurski training complex on campus open to the public will be on Aug. 3, 4 and 5. The open scrimmage will be held on Aug. 9 at TCF Bank Stadium.

The Gophers have 27 practices scheduled next month before their first game.
