Bemidji, MN Learfield News Service) - The defending national champion Minnesota Golden Gophers women's hockey team dominated play, but needed two late goals to win.

Minnesota's Dani Cameranesi scored twice in the third period as the Gophers beat Bemidji State Friday 3-1. Her second broke a 1-1 tie at 10:39 of the third period. Minnesota (3-0) outshot Bemidji 30-to-17, but neither team scored in the first two periods. Caitlin Reilly's goal gave the Gophers some breathing room. Kelly Pannek had two assists.
